Welcome To The Home Of The Seminole Ridge High School Band & Color Guard Program
PARENT VOLUNTEERS

We value parents and their involvement in the schools' academic and extracurricular programs. Studies have shown that when parents are involved, students achieve at a higher level. Would you like to volunteer? Have any questions? Please feel free to contact Mr. Skinner at john.skinner@palmbeachschools.org.
Parents...
Althou you might not be selected for Chaperoning or Concessions, your help is still needed. Please assist in cleaning the stadium after each home game. The faster the student's duties are completed,
the sooner we can all go home.
Ask Scott Stanton/Band Parent, how you can help.
Remember ... One Band, One Family!
Let's get our Hawk stadium ready for each upcoming game!
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Dear Band Parents,
As of July 1, 2011 all parents/guardians must complete the online Volunteer Registration to be registered as a volunteer for the school year 2011-2012 (and summer 2011). Even if you were already signed up as a volunteer last year at Seminole Ridge or any other school, you must go through the process again because Palm Beach County School Board policy requires a new background check for all of the volunteers each year.
(If parents processed their Volunteer Registration at another school, they can get linked to SRHS by emailing their request to Cindi.Walker@palmbeachschools.org)
Parents, please go to main office at Seminole Ridge High School during the summer office hours which are Monday through Thursday (7:30 am - 5:00 pm) closed for lunch from (12:00 to 1:00 pm). Just click on “volunteer” and follow the prompts and it will take you through the process. It only takes a few minutes and you will be signed up as a volunteer which is required for all band activities.
The front desk staff will be happy to assist you in your registration or the logging of your one hour. Any other questions regarding Volunteer Registration can be directed to volunteercoordinator@seminoleridgeband.com.
If you register, stay at the computer and log yourself one hour. Do this by Clicking Volunteers then Sign In, (follow directions) then Click to Finish.
Click Volunteers one more time, then Sign Out (follow directions) and Click to Finish.
Please remember it is a mandatory Palm Beach County School Board policy that each parent/guardian is signed up in the system as a volunteer to chaperone any event and it must be done in advance, as it sometimes takes up to 3-4 weeks to get approved. (This includes practices, football games, competitions, concessions, fundraising events, etc.) Mr. Skinner will receive an updated chaperone list each week from the school's Volunteer Coordinator to verify all who have been approved.
Thank you for your cooperation on this matter.
